Kierre Hawkins, a redshirt freshman tight end, is transferring to Youngstown State. Hawkins came to OSU as a four-star recruit in the 2016 class out of Maple Heights, Ohio. The 2016 class featured three total tight ends, Hawkins and four-star Jake Hausmann and Luke Farrell. Hawkins may have had a tough time seeing the field as OSU continues to add more talent. The No. 1 tight end in the country, Jeremy Ruckert, remains committed to OSU’s top-ranked 2018 recruiting class.
