The Buckeyes reeled in a commitment from Tyreke Johnson, a four-star safety from Jacksonville, Florida. Johnson was one of the top remaining targets for OSU’s 2018 class. The pledge gives the Buckeyes 19 commitments in their loaded top-ranked recruiting class that includes four five-star pledges, and 14 four-stars. The commitment also continues the pipeline of talent coming to OSU from Florida, it’s the 10th Sunshine State pledge in the last three recruiting cycles.
