Ohio State will be resting up over the bye weekend, and more than a few Buckeyes will be gathered around a TV Saturday night watching Penn State host Michigan. Penn State enters the game a 9.5 point favorite, a line that has dropped from 12 points. The game features two of the country’s best defenses — Michigan ranks No. 1 in total defense, allowing only 224 yards per game (PSU ranks No. 9 at 285 yards per game), while Penn State has the best scoring defense in the nation — allowing only 9 points per contest (Michigan ranks No. 8 allowing 14.7 points per game). Expect a low scoring game. And don’t be surprised if the Wolverines find some magic under a creative offensive gameplan by Jim Harbaugh and do just enough to keep it close throughout and sneak by the Nittany Lions for the win in Happy Valley. Prediction: Michigan 20, Penn State 17.
