In a week that saw four AP top-10 teams lose to unranked opponents, the Buckeyes stood tall. No. 2 Clemson, No. 5 Washington, No. 8 Washington State, and No. 10 Auburn — all fell in the most chaotic weekend yet of the season. Meanwhile, Ohio State turned in their most singularly dominant performance of the year with a 56-14 victory in Lincoln. A fully in command J.T. Barrett accounted for seven touchdowns (five passing, two rushing), tying the single-game school record. The win marked the 892nd victory in program history, tying the Buckeyes with Nebraska for fourth in all-time victories at the FBS-level. Next up, a bye week — then undefeated Penn State rolls into the Shoe.
