OSU’s halfbacks had a total of only 16 carries in Saturday night’s loss against Oklahoma. In Monday’s press conference, Urban Meyer noted that things were about to change with a healthier Mike Weber, “[that amount of carries] is not enough. And Mike was still not quite 100 percent…We’re anticipating — he’s still not full speed yet, but we anticipate him and J.K. runs real hard, too. You want to be in the 30 — 25 to 30 number with him, with them.” The Buckeyes will face a solid Army run defense Saturday that’s allowing 92.5 yards per game on the ground.
