Hooker Declares for NFL Draft — Expected to be a high first round NFL draft pick, redshirt sophomore safety Malik Hooker declared for the NFL Draft. Hooker made the announcement on Twitter, saying “I have talked with my family and we have decided it’s best for me to forgo my remaining two years of eligibility and declare for the 2017 NFL draft. I want to thank God first and foremost for blessing me with the opportunity to make this decision.” Hooker registered seven interceptions, three of them pick-sixes along with 74 tackles.
