Clemson Offensive Coordinator on OSU D: “Those Guys Can Run” — Like a National Geographic special, booting up game tape of OSU’s defense for the first time is kind of like seeing bees swarm — the Buckeyes can fly, and before you know it they are attacking everywhere. When Clemson co-offensive coordinator Jeff Scott put on film of the OSU defense, he was instantly impressed (and perhaps a little bit taken aback by what he saw), “All of those guys can run…All those guys in the secondary — very athletic, long, run really well. And then they’ve got great ball skills…one of the most impressive plays they have made have been some unbelievable interceptions, really looks like a wide receiver going up to attack a ball, or catch a ball with one hand.” Tim May with more on Scott’s analysis of OSU’s defense.
