Weber Ready to Repeat Zeke’s Playoff Run: During the 2014 playoff, Ezekiel Elliott was unstoppable. Elliott ran for 230 yards and two touchdowns against Alabama, and then notched another 246 yards and 4 touchdowns in the national championship against Oregon. The run left a lasting impression on Mike Weber, who is now aiming to model Zeke’s success. Weber said, “It influenced me to come here — how well he was running and how well the line was blocking…He was breaking so many tackles and scoring touchdowns. I kind of pictured myself doing that. I do think about how he’s burst onto the scene…I know I haven’t quite yet, but I’m looking forward to doing that also.” Bill Rabinowitz with more on Weber’s playoff prep.
