DETROIT NATIVE MIKE WEBER IS READY: It was the best gift Brady Hoke ever gave Columbus. With Hoke’s coaching status on the ropes in 2014, then senior at Detroit’s Cass Tech Mike Weber decommitted from the Wolverines. Now still only a redshirt freshman, Weber has over a thousand yards rushing and 8 touchdowns for the Buckeyes. And he’s more than ready to suit up against That School Up North for the very first time. What’s Weber’s goal Saturday? “To have one of my biggest games against them, which is what I’m planning on doing, it’s gonna be great a feeling,” Weber said.
