Weber: The Game is like National Championship

By Jim Baird | AM Football Briefing | Sunday, November 20 – 9:15 AM

WEBER – THE GAME IS LIKE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP: Redshirt freshman running back Mike Weber was not messing around on Saturday. The Detroit native rumbled for 111 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. When Michigan’s State’s Montae Nicholson tackled him, Weber put a finger in his face, which drew a flag but set the tone. How does Weber feel about playing the Wolverines, a team that fought tooth and nail to recruit him? “Right now, we’re looking at it as the national championship and that’s how we’re supposed to look at it. We’re going to go out all week, work hard at it and try to execute that game plan.” The No. 2 Buckeyes welcome the No. 3 Fightin’ Harbaughs at noon Saturday.
