The Great Cornhusker Massacre; Headlines; Around the B1G

THE GREAT CORNHUSKER MASSACRE: 62-3. The most points Ohio State has ever scored against a top 10 team. The first time the Buckeyes have topped 50 points against a top 10 opponent since lashing the Wolverines 50-14 in 1968. Urban: “I didn’t see that one coming…It is a little relief to know that right now I saw some explosiveness that we kind of have been lacking in some positions. And I think relief is probably the correct word, that we’ve all been waiting for that to happen. And like you said, no better time than the month of November to get that thing going…We’ve not been explosive at receiver this year. And when you throw for 300-plus yards and obviously Curtis is very explosive, but I thought our receivers all day they were running very sharp routes, very crisp routes against a good secondary. And J.T.’s delivering the ball, but I thought the receivers were outstanding.” Ohio State improves to 8-1. The Buckeyes hit the road for two tests against Maryland and Michigan State before The Game in the ‘Shoe.
