URBAN STICKS WITH DONTRE RETURNING PUNTS

By Jim Baird | AM Football Briefing | Thursday, October 27

URBAN STICKS WITH DONTRE RETURNING PUNTS: Can Dontre Wilson break through? This season Dontre is averaging a pedestrian 6.8 yards per punt return. That’s the lowest return average since Jordan Hall in 2011 for any Buckeye returning more than 10 punts in a season. The last two weeks, Dontre has muffed punts. Despite the adventure returning punts, confidence remains high in Dontre. Urban: “We just keep coaching him through it…He’s a very talented guy and we’re hoping he gets a chance to get a return out of it…Last week, they were all very short punts and very high and it seems like we’ve had a lot of those. We haven’t really had a chance to get it started.” Tim Shoemaker with more.
