Urban’s Idea to Change Recruiting

By Jim Baird | AM Football Briefing | Thursday, September 29

URBAN’S IDEAS TO CHANGE RECRUITING: Is the current recruiting system out of balance? Urban thinks things can change for the better, “I wish you couldn’t make a commitment until your senior year so everyone can get to know each other and we can slow this process down.” Urban’s comments yesterday came after quarterback Danny Clark decommitted from the 2017 Class earlier this week. Clark was offered and committed to OSU as a 14-year-old freshman and is rated a three star by 247Sports. His decommitment opens up a much needed slot in OSU’s loaded class that ranks No. 1 in the nation. Ohio State currently holds a commitment from top dual threat quarterback Tate Martell in that class. Ari Wasserman with more on Clark’s decommitment.
