Report – LSU to Contact Meyer on Vacancy

By Jim Baird | AM Football Briefing | Tuesday, September 27

LSU TO CONTACT MEYER ON VACANCY: Put this in the category of wishful thinking. LSU has a plan in place to reach out to Urban Meyer over their coaching vacancy according to a report by FootballScoop. This would only take place if interim head coach Ed Orgeron doesn’t win the job. Urban would be on a ‘home run list’ of candidates including Nick Saban, Bob Stoops, Jimbo Fisher, and Tom Herman. Read the story. As Eric Seger writes, Meyer won’t leave Ohio State  but that doesn’t mean LSU won’t ask.

KJ HILL OUT: Wide Receiver KJ Hill is out four weeks with a high angle sprain. Hill has caught two passes for 58 yards and a touchdown through three games.
