By Jim Baird | AM Football Briefing | Monday, September 12
OSU RISES TO NO. 3 IN AP POLL: OSU rose to the No. 3 slot in the AP Poll released Sunday, behind Alabama and FSU. Other notable rankings: That School Up North No. 4, Wisconsin No. 9, MSU No. 12, Iowa No. 13, Oklahoma No. 14. Read the poll here.
BUCKEYES FAVORITES IN NORMAN: Oklahoma opened as a 1-point favorite against Ohio State. That didn’t last long. After early action in Las Vegas, Ohio State now sits as a 2.5 point favorite according to Vegas Insider. A lot of Buckeyes will make the trip to Norman, so many that OSU is hosting a sold-out pre-game pep rally in the arena where Oklahoma plays basketball games.
