FRESHMEN, VETERANS HIT FIELD: At 8:25 AM freshmen hit the field for the first time at the Woody Hayes. Veterans take the field at 3:25. The first full team practice is tomorrow: who will make a good first camp impression? Eric Seger on the major adjustments freshmen will need to make with the start of camp. Tim May on the challenge Urban faces keeping a young team on track. Nicholas Piotrowicz on which players from the 2015 and 2016 recruiting classes will have most impact. One of camps’ fiercest competitions is for starting cornerback opposite Gareon Conley, Doug Lesmerises with a look at who has a leg up.

CALLING ALL FREAKS: In the closest thing to a catwalk all season, Ohio State players arrived in force yesterday to the team hotel at the Hyatt Place in Grandview and were greeted by assembled press. Ari Wasserman brings the check-in photo highlights. Winning the day was long-snapper Liam McCulluough who went meta with his t-shirt featuring a picture snapped of his check-in last year.
